Voce Name
Voce (pronounced “vo-chay”) comes from the Italian word for voice, and pays tribute to both Michael’s family heritage as well as his belief in the power inherent in each of us as we discover and amplify the voice that’s uniquely our own.
The Voce brand identity was thoughtfully crafted to embody growth, balance, and harmony that come from the self-discovery that Voce Leadership enables for its clients.

Michael's Story
Recognized for his ability to both inspire people and deliver results, authentic leadership is a hallmark throughout Michael’s career.
In Michael’s 20+ years of corporate experience, a consistent thread through each of his leadership roles has been his genuine care for his people, and his desire to help them grow.
While grateful for consistently expanding responsibilities through his career, Michael also learned firsthand how leadership roles often come with feelings of isolation, insecurity, pressure and fear. This unique understanding of the challenges and emotions that leaders need to navigate helped Michael recognize the value of coaching and fuels the empathetic approach to his work with Voce.
Always one to pursue his passions, Michael began his career embracing his love for sport during his time with the NHL. After a stop with Nestle Canada, Michael embarked on an 18-year career with adidas that ultimately saw him named President of adidas Canada before reaching the age of 40.
Recognized for his curiosity, passion for people, and inspirational leadership style, Michael successfully led sales & marketing teams and the Reebok brand before moving into his role as President. Michael’s time at adidas has been recognized for much more than just the dramatic growth and improvement in business performance. Michael’s proudest legacy that he left with adidas was the creation of a beloved culture that empowered all team members to find their authentic voice.
After over 6 years leading adidas, Michael has once again followed his passion, founding Voce Leadership to give voice to his desire to inspire and empower leaders to realize their potential. Michael also proudly serves as the Chair of the Terry Fox Foundation Board, a cause he is passionately and personally connected to.
